FSHP 2020 Annual Meeting
The 54th FSHP Annual Meeting has transitioned to an ALL virtual platofrm.
COVID-19 Updates
FSHP and the Rosen Centre are taking every precaution to make the meeting safe for all attendees.
Precautions
● We are requesting/encouraging attendees to bring their own facial coverings or masks.● We will have a limited supply of masks at the registration desk.● FSHP will supply hand sanitizer at the meeting for individual attendees.
Registration
● Everyone gets Early-Bird registration ($150 savings).● Registration ends August 5.● Attendees must register online. There will be no on-site registration.● Attendance limited to 500 to accommodate CDC social distancing protocols.
Hotel
● The Rosen Centre has also extended the FSHP discounted room rate of $129 (plus tax) until July 13.● The resort will monitor temperatures for all who enter the resort daily. Procedures are in place should any issues arise.● The hotel have updated their safety precautions. Please check their website or contact them for the most current info. ● The Rosen Centre will work with FSHP to ensure consistent sanitizing of high traffic areas.
Agenda & Sessions
In scaling back the meeting, we had to change the format of, and cancel a few events in order to be able to ensure that safety measures are met. ● In planning, we have decided that we will not be able to offer receptions or any event outside of educational sessions where we cannot appropriately space the room for social distancing. ● The Educational Affairs Council has re-worked the schedule of events, we will be offering 16 hours of pharmacist and pharmacy technician General and/or Consultant Re-certification CE. ● Updated agenda to include Pharmacist, Pharmacy Technician and Student Tracks will be posted when available.● Please be on the lookout for details about a virtual Poster Session. ● Rooms will be set so that seating is spaced appropriately. We will stagger break and lunch times to deter large crowds.● The Aquatica event will be postponed until the 2021 Annual Meeting, refunds will be posted accordingly.
Access to Meeting Sessions After the Meeting:● FSHP is working on providing a recorded version of some, or all of the sessions from the live meeting. We will provide information on how to register for and access recorded webinars after the meeting.● There will be 20+ hours of pre-recorded CE, General/Tech/Consultant Re-Certification CE.● Costs to access recorded sessions will be: Pharmacist FSHP member ($250), Pharmacist non-member ($400), Technician FSHP member ($150), Technician non-member ($300)● Registration to access the recordings will be available after the Annual Meeting. We will send out notifications once this registration opens.House of Delegates

The FSHP House of Delegates Meeting must contain TWO sessions, per our governing documents. FSHP will be using GoToWebinar for these sessions. To uphold the integrity of the voting process, only eligible delegates (members of FSHP and submitted by the appropriate FSHP affiliate) will be allowed in these sessions. Therefore, there will be no observer status. Each delegate must log in separately with their GoToWebinar link to participate and vote. Exceptions can be sent in for approval.
The FSHP House of Delegates First Session will be held on Thursday, July 30, 2020 from 2:00 PM EST to 3:00 PM EST. Delegates are asked to log in at least 15 minutes early so that staff can proceed with checking delegate names for roll call and quorum check. Delegate Packets containing the Agenda, Resolutions, New Business items and Reports will be distributed no later than July 15, 2020. The Resolutions and New Business items will be discussed during Session 1.
Delegates should use the time frame in between sessions to caucus.
The FSHP House of Delegates Second Session will be held on Thursday, July 30, 2020 from 4:00 PM EST to 5:00 PM EST. Delegates are asked to log in at least 15 minutes early so that staff can proceed with checking delegates names for roll call and quorum check. If delegates from Session 1 are unable to attend Session 2 and Alternate Delegates need to take their place, the Alternate Delegate must be recognized at the end of Roll Call and before the Session 2 starts to verify that the new individual is eligible to sit as a delegate and they must identify the delegate that they are replacing. Alternate delegates will not initially be sent a login link unless their status changes prior to Session 2. FSHP Staff must be informed within the break between sessions.

The novel coronavirus, COVID-19, has been declared a worldwide pandemic by the World Health Organization. COVID-19 is reported to be extremely contagious. The state of medical knowledge is evolving, but the virus is believed to spread from person-to-person contact and/or by contact with contaminated surfaces and objects, and even possibly in the air. People reportedly can be infected and show no symptoms and therefore spread the disease. The Florida Society of Health-System Pharmacists (FSHP), will take all measures to ensure safety, but cannot prevent you from becoming exposed to, contracting, or spreading COVID-19 while attending the FSHP 54th Annual Meeting August 7-9, 2020 at the Rosen Centre in Orlando, FL.
ASSUMPTION OF RISK: By attending the FSHP 54th Annual Meeting you choose to accept all foregoing risks of contracting COVID-19 for yourself and your guests.
